Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR)
An EICR is a detailed inspection of the fixed electrical installation in a property: the wiring, consumer unit, sockets, switches and fittings. It identifies anything that is damaged, deteriorated or does not meet current standards, and records whether the installation is satisfactory for continued use.
Electrical inspection and testing
We inspect and test the installation, then provide a clear written report. If remedial work is needed, we explain what we found, how urgent it is and what it will cost to put right.
Landlord requirements
Landlords in England with private tenancies must have the electrical installation in their rental properties inspected and tested by a qualified person at least every five years, and give a copy of the report to their tenants. We carry out landlord EICRs and can complete any remedial work that is needed.
Property management
For letting agents and property managers, we can work with you to schedule inspections and remedial work across the properties you manage.
Commercial compliance
Businesses have a duty to keep their electrical systems in a safe condition. Periodic inspection and testing helps you meet that responsibility and keeps your records up to date for your insurer.
Certification
All inspection and installation work is documented with the appropriate certificates and reports, issued as an NICEIC approved contractor.
